As you may or may not know, UR Makers is applying for SA recognition this semester! We're so excited to be taking this next step and to see our club grow! We met with the SA Policy and Review Board last Thursday, and we found out today that they have approved us for preliminary status.

What this means: We have 6 weeks to show them how awesome we are, and then we return for our final recognition hearing.

What you can do: Keep doing what you're doing! Come to our meetings and events, tell your friends, spread the Maker movement on campus. We so appreciate everything you (our loyal club members) have done to make this possible.

Our hope is that SA recognition will give us another platform for spreading our name on campus as well as making it easier for interested students to contact us. We would be allowed to have a booth at the Activities Fair every semester, and we would be searchable on the CCC website, all of which would contribute to the growth of UR Makers.

Check back for updates throughout the process! See you at Part I of our Make a Bow event on Saturday (3-5, Rettner 1st Floor, details here, RSVP here)!
